Man arrested for stealing phones, punching people at Macon Zaxby's

A 21-year-old man was arrested and charged with stealing a phone and punching three people at a Zaxby's restaurant in Macon.

According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, it happened just before 8 p.m. Friday at the Riverside Drive restaurant. 

Deputies were told Michael Little, of Stuart, Florida, approached the first victim and asked to use his cell phone. After the victim told him no, Little punched him in the face and attempted to take his phone.

The release states Little also attempted to take another victim's phone and punched him in the face as well.

A third victim also came out of the restaurant, and told deputies Little also punched him in the face and took his cell phone.

A Zaxby's employee pointed out Little to deputies near the Checker's restaurant across the street.

Little attempted to resist, but was arrested and charged with armed robbery, attempted armed robbery and simple battery on an officer.

He's being held in the Bibb County jail.

All of the victims were treated for their injuries.
