Man charged with Macon phone store burglary

A man is behind bars after he alleged burglarized an east Macon phone store

A news release says Bibb deputies responded to a burglary in progress call at the Cricket on Shurling Drive around 3 a.m. Tuesday.

When a deputy arrived, he saw a man running away from the store with a bag in his hand.

The deputy chased the man down and caught him.

The suspect was identified as 26-year-old Douglas Solomon and he is charged with burglary.

His bond was set at $5,700.
