Man hospitalized after shooting in Warner Robins

A Warner Robins man is in a Macon hospital after being shot, according to a news release from the Warner Robins Police Department.

It says officers responded to a shots fired call in the 200-block of Evergreen St. around 1 p.m. Monday.

A man was shot and driven to the Houston Medical Center in a white van.

Jennifer Parson with the Warner Robins PD says the van at the Houston Medical Center is being considered a crime scene because the victim rode inside, but the shooting did not happen at the hospital.

After arriving at the Houston Medical Center, the man was then taken by ambulance to the Medical Center, Navicent Health.

Officers have one suspect in custody. The victim’s condition is unknown.

Anyone with information about the shooting should call Det. Gravitt at 478-302-5380.
