Man indicted on murder charges in killing of Macon convenience store clerk

A Bibb grand jury indicted Antwaine Cardelle Couch for malice murder Tuesday, according to an indictment from the Macon-Bibb Superior Court.

Malice murder was just one of six counts Couch that was indicted for relating to the June 18 shooting death of convenience store clerk Prakash Patel.

The other counts include: two counts of felony murder, two counts of aggravated assault and one count of armed robbery.

Couch, 20, was arrested in mid-July. Investigators are still looking for the second man pictured in the surveillance footage of the armed robbery.
