Lights, camera, action! Perry is getting ready to be in the limelight for a new movie titled "First Man."
Nicole Butler gives us a sneak peek as the crews start to set up.
According to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), the movie is based on the life of Neil Armstrong, the first person to walk on the moon.
The lead will be played by Ryan Gosling and fans around town just can't wait.
"Oh yeah, I'm definitely trying to sneak in there and try to see him, so I'm trying to map out where they are having it so I can just sneak around and try to find him," said Caroline Rowland.
Unfortunately for Rowland and other like-minded fans, the set will be closed to the public.
According to a permit from the City of Perry, the movie will film scenes on November 20 and 21 near the Georgia National Fairgrounds.
This map points out a crash site, burn location, and where Armstrong will be dragged in the scene.
Crew members say that either on Monday or Tuesday of next week, an explosion will be happening out here, but for right now they are just clearing the land of ant hills and sand spurs to ensure the crews' safety.
According to the permit, filming will take place between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. on both days.
The production crew plans to be cleaned up by November 22.
