Museum of Arts and Sciences gets a baby lemur

Museum welcomes baby lemur

The Museum of Arts and Sciences is set to welcome a baby lemur into their collection of animals.

Lemurs are from Madagascar and they are an endangered species.  The primates have big yellow eyes, a long nose, and range in color from different shades of black to gray.

The museum plans to unveil the new addition Friday.  It's still really young, so there is no word on when the public will get their first glimpse.

Madagascar.org says the animal looks like a cross between a squirrel and a dog.
