Peach season is ending and Sunday was the last day to pick up peaches at Dickey Farms out in Musella.
Owner Lee Dickey says this year’s season wasn’t exactly peachy.
“Volume wise we got hurt by the mild winter and the late freeze, and so there were some challenges with that, but overall it's been nice,” said Dickey, “our customers have been really supportive and have been out many times to visit us here.”
The farm will be open for the rest of the year selling other products like oils, tomatoes, and ice cream.
If you missed out, you’ll have to wait until mid-spring for another go at some Georgia grown peaches.
