Qualifying for Central Georgia city elections starts Monday

Candidates in dozens of Central Georgia cities start qualifying for November elections on Monday.
The highlights include a mayor's race in Warner Robins and possible races in Perry, Centerville, Gray and Roberta.
Qualifying for city posts in those and other cities begins Monday morning and runs through Friday.
For details on qualifying, contact your city clerk.
 
In Warner Robins, Joe Musselwhite and former mayor Chuck Shaheen both said they'll challenge Mayor Randy Toms, who's seeking a second term. Other mayoral candidates may also qualify.
Also on the November ballot; Shaheen's Post 1 at-large council seat, the Post 3 seat held by Keith Lauritsen and Clifford Holmes' Post 5 seat.
