Kyro, Houston County Sheriff's Office's K9 was shot and killed by his handler, Sgt. Slate Simons last week. The dog attacked Simons who was hospitalized after Kryo bit his leg down to the bone.
Simons said he had to shoot the dog to get him off of his leg.
After reporting on that incident, we learned that Kyro bit a man in the arm during a traffic stop in Warner Robins in 2015.
That man ended up suing Warner Robins police and was awarded $45,000.
In the video that 13WMAZ obtained through an Open Records Request, Simons can be seen circling the car with Kyro.
The men who were in the car that officers stopped and searched were not charged with any crimes.
