Reptiles took over the Georgia National Fairgrounds Saturday.
Breeders and vendors showcased everything from snakes to exotic lizards at ReptiDay.
For those who are scared of creatures who slither, turtles were on display too.
However, the showcase was not complete without some strange breeds taking the stage.
“They cross breed different lizards and snakes for what they call morphs. This would be like in cat or dog breeding where you’re kind of trying to get specialized traits,” said event coordinator Skip Peel. “so if you look at some of the ball pythons, you're going to get really crazy colorations that you're not going to find in the wild and they're especially bred for those.”
It was a one-day only event and if people loved the reptiles enough, some were available for purchase.
