Robert Lee Coleman plays after guitars were stolen

Thursday night, Robert Lee Coleman took the stage for the first time since his guitars were stolen when someone took his vehicle last week

Coleman has played with artists like James Brown and Percy Sledge.

Luckily, Coleman's guitars were recovered last Friday after two individuals tried to sell them at a guitar store.

Coleman said it felt amazing to be back on stage and is hopeful his other stolen items turn up soon, too.

"I'm just glad to get my guitars back. I ain't got my van or my amp back, but I got my guitars and I thank God for that," says Coleman.

If you know the whereabouts of Coleman's van or amp, you can call the Bibb County Sheriff's Office at 478-751-7500.
