Robins TRICARE center closing

The TRICARE benefits walk-in service center at Robins Air Force Base is closing Tuesday, the base says.

TRICARE is the Defense Department health care program. According to its website,Tricare covers about 9.6 million active- duty service members, National Guard and Reserve members, retirees, their families and survivors.

The base also announced new hours for its commissary: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday.
