NE, Peach, Rutland Roll Into Elite 8

The Northeast Raiderettes used a 14-5 run in the second half to beat Appling County Tuesday night.

The win moves Northeast into the Elite 8. They will play Laney Saturday in Savannah.

Rutland also advanced with a 44-41 win over Westover. They will play Kendrick Saturday in Columbus.

Baldwin stayed alive with a 37-35 win over Dougherty while Peach County blasted Richmond Hill 59-56.

Peach and Baldwin meet Saturday night in Columbus.
