This year's Cherry Blossom Festival went out with a bang, as hundreds of people gathered at Wesleyan College for fun and fireworks.
Fireworks illuminated the night sky as people bid farewell to this year's festival.
But before the sparks in the sky, they celebrated in style.
Some kids reached new heights as they partied the day away at the Cherry Blossom Finale event.
They enjoyed rock climbing, a giant slide, face painting, and more.
Hundreds of people brought their blankets and settled in a good spot to enjoy the weather, the music, and everything in between.
Kali Bogdan says she loves bringing her little one to the festival because he loves the slide, and she gets to see a lot of people from town.
She says every year, she and her friends all bring their kids out to the festival.
Ar'mani Bailey says she likes having fun and being able to see others having a good time too.
Festival organizers say despite some bad weather toward the end of the week, they've seen record attendance at many of this year's events.
Board of Directors Chairman Lee Robinson says he is happy to see the community supporting the festival like he has never seen before.
He says he thinks people were trying to send a message that they love the festival, want to have the festival, and he is going to take that as an endorsement and make sure there is a festival next year.
But until then, festival goers say they'll carry their pink party memories with them.
Festival organizers say it'll be a few weeks before they know how this year rates financially.
They say record turnouts for the beginning of the week's events should balance out with the lower turnout from Saturday's weather.
