Due to inclement weather and wet field conditions, this evening's scheduled baseball game at Claude Smith Field between Mercer and No. 3 Georgia Tech has been cancelled.
Rains Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning rendered field conditions unplayable.
Mercer stays at home this weekend when it hosts FGCU, which is currently in a three-way tie for second in the A-Sun. The three-game series begins Friday at 6 p.m. at Mercer's Claude Smith Field.
Number eight Georgia College and State and Valdosta State University originally scheduled for Wednesday night will mee on the diamond Tuesday April 28th at 4pm.
The Bobcats are back in action Saturday April 4th at 1pm hosting a doubleheader with Francis Marion University.
The Bobcat softball doubleheader against number three North Georgia is also re-scheduled for April 11th at 4pm.
