WARWICK, Ga. (AP) -- The 12th annual National Grits Festival honoring Georgia's official prepared food is set for Saturday in the Worth County city of Warwick, deemed the Grits Capitol of the World by Gov. Sonny Perdue.

The Georgia Secretary of State Web site says the state made grits its official prepared food in 2002.

The event honoring a breakfast staple in the South begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Grits Station.

Activities in the southwest Georgia city will include arts and crafts, a parade, corn-shelling and an antique tractor and car show.
