Falcons Continue to Stack Defense

The Atlanta Falcons have ended their weekend run on defensive players by taking Georgia Tech defensive tackle Vance Walker.

The Falcons selected defensive players with seven of their eight picks.

Walker had 33 tackles and three sacks for Georgia Tech as a senior.

Atlanta also picked San Jose State cornerback Christopher Owens, Richmond defensive end Lawrence Sidbury, Furman cornerback William Middleton and Miami linebacker Spencer Adkins on Sunday.

The Falcons' only offensive player, North Carolina offensive tackle Garrett Reynolds, was taken in the fifth round Sunday.

The Falcons' first two picks on Saturday were Mississippi defensive tackle Peria Jerry and Missouri safety William Moore.
