A park in Macon will receive some upgrades with the help of the AT&T Foundation.

The $50,000 grant given to NewTown Macon will go to help improve Amerson Water Works Park.

The grant will create technology education stations in the park aimed at helping curriculum for Kindergarten through grade 12.

The stations will focus on geography, sociology, earth science, and anthropology and some other areas.

This project will give students the chance to be hands-on while learning.

Educators and students can use the information in the classrooms via the web and through wireless internet and iPhones when they're at the trail.
