Macon police say a bank robbery suspect was arrested when he checked into a Pennsylvania motel using paint-dyed money.

Maurice Hill, age 23, is charged with robbing the Security Bank at 4699 Log Cabin Drive on June 8.

Police Chief Mike Burns held a Thursday-morning news conference to announce five arrests in recent robberies, including Hill's. Police said they're looking for a sixth suspect and also considering charges against two juveniles, 11 and 12 years old, in a recent robbery.

According to a police news release, Hill checked into a motel in Tinicum, Pennsylvania last week and paid for his room with money that was covered with dye.

After the clerk notified local police, they found that Hill had a large amount of money soaking in bleach in the bathroom of his motel room.

Police say he is still in custody in Pennsylvania and local officials are working to return him to Macon to face charges.

Also arrested, according to police:

-- Trenvino Kenmarcus Burnett, age 29, charged with criminal attempt to commit robbery, auto theft and kidnapping at the Shawn Food Mart on Rocky Creek Road on May 29. Police are looking for a second man, 21-year-old Antonio Durham in connection with the case. Anyone with information on him is asked to call Macon police criminal investigations division at 803-2480.

-- Jamual Devero, age 19, charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and criminal attempt to commit robbery. He's charged in connection with two cases at the Security Bank on 2918 Riverside Drive. On Dec. 13, 2008, someone came out of the woods and shot at a Burger King employee who was making a deposit drop, and on Jan. 4, another employee was robbed while making a deposit drop. Police say they're also looking for another person of interest in those cases.

-- 36-year-old Dana Natasha Hollinshed was charged with fiduciary theft in the Jan. 4 bank-bag robbery at the Security Bank.

-- Jerald Leonard Johnson, age 18, charged with criminal attempt to commit robbery and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony. He allegedly tried to rob the Shawn Food Mart on Rocky Creek Road on May 27. Police say 11- and 12-year-olds were also involved in that robbery. They say they're discussing possible charges against them with the Bibb County District Attorney's Office.

Chief Burns says many people helped make these arrests.

"It's the hard work from investigators, the help from the community, its the help from the patrol division," said Burns.
