PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Think the only way to see a big-screen movie is while slurping a huge soft drink and shushing the critic behind you?
That's not the case anymore, thanks to people like John Young, a 38-year-old Web developer who's part of a network of celluloid renegades resurrecting the drive-in for a new age.
Guerrilla drive-ins or "MobMovs" -- that's shorthand for mobile movies -- are popping up around the country.
Some operators use the old-school 16mm film, but most use DVDs and LCD projectors. Some viewers sit on lawn chairs and watch movies under the stars. Others watch from inside their cars but get sound by way of an FM radio transmitter.
And guerrillas are urged to secure required approvals from property owners and film distributors.
