Monday night Bibb County investigators wrapped up a manhunt for two burglary suspects.

They arrested Ronald Keith Pitts, 21, and William Clark, 25. Both men are charged with Burglary and Obstruction.

Deputy Sean DeFoe with the Bibb County Sheriff's Office says around 4:45 p.m. a deputy received a call about a suspicious vehicle on Green Hill Drive in south Bibb County.

Shortly after, the deputy received another call about a possible robbery on Sardis Church Road.

The news release says a Sardis Church Road homeowner told deputies that someone broke into his home, and that he'd found his wooden cash box lying in the backyard near a fence. He said his pistol had been stolen also.

DeFoe says the sheriff's office received several calls about two suspicious men seen running through the area. Neighbors gave investigators a description of the men.

DeFoe says deputies spotted men matching the description near Fulton Mill Road and chased them on foot.

The men ran into a swampy area, but DeFoe says deputies caught them in the woods near Purple Road in Crawford County.
