An old tradition is back in downtown Macon, just in time for Father's Day. The Ramada Plaza Hotel on First Street brought back its Sunday brunch.

Hotel managers expected about 100 people to come out and share a meal. They dined on freshly cut meats, and a variety of tasty dishes.

They say the hotel used to host the brunch every Sunday, but stopped it around October.

Some people who attended the meal say they're glad it's back in time to celebrate dad, including Chamber of Commerce President Chip Cherry. He says when he heard the brunch was returning, he wanted to check it out.

"It was very good. They did a very nice job, brought the family out. We had very nice service and nice food so it made for a nice day," Cherry said.

The Ramada will now host the brunch every Sunday starting at 11a.m. The meal costs about fifteen dollars per person.
