GAINESVILLE, Ga. (AP) -- Authorities in Georgia and Florida say they spent countless man hours investigating claims by a man who identified himself on the Internet as "catchmekiller," falsely claiming 16 murders including a south Georgia woman who disappeared almost four years ago.

A Hall County grand jury Tuesday indicted Andrew Scott Haley of Gainesville on charges of tampering with evidence and false statements.

Among the victims claimed in the hoax was Tara Grinstead, who disappeared from her Ocilla home Oct. 22, 2005.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation became aware of the
"catchmekiller" video in February when a link was posted on the Website dedicated to a missing Florida woman, Jennifer Kesse of Orlando, who vanished Jan. 24, 2006.
