Crash of 3 Cars, 6 Motorcycles Injures 8

ATLANTA (AP) -- A crash involving three cars and six motorcycles on I-75 in Henry County has sent eight people to the hospital.

Henry County Police Capt. Jason Bolton said there were no life-threatening injuries after the crash, which occurred around 1 p.m. Sunday.

All northbound lanes were closed for nearly two hours following the accident. Bolton said the chain-reaction crash apparently resulted from vehicles following too closely.

He said a vehicle had stopped on the side of the road and other cars started to slow down.

The bikers had come from the National Bikers Roundup at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
