A group of Mercer law students helped a 90-year old woman give her house a face lift.

The students partnered with Rebuilding Macon in efforts to paint and replace boards at Nancy Hardy's home.

A few times a year the students take part in a rebuilding project.

Hardy's marks the sixth home they've rebuilt this year.

Law student Katie Willett says it's one of the most important things that people at the school can do to give back.

"It is just a good opportunity for us to come out, get out of the library and get in to the community," said Willett.

So far this year, Rebuilding Macon has helped improve 200 homes.
