Central Georgians Raise Over $500,000 for MDA

All Labor Day Weekend central Georgians answered the call to be heroes by helping people suffering with muscular dystrophy.

Heroes like you helped raise a grand total of $522,051 for the annual Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon.

The money will help people who have muscular dystrophy, which is a disease that causes muscle weakness and loss of muscle tissue.

Congratulations on becoming heroes and helping raise over $500,000.

Nationwide, the Telethon raised $60.5 million.
