ATLANTA (AP) -- A federal lawsuit has been filed against the owners of three metro Atlanta sports bars alleging the men forced five waitresses to have sex with them or lose their jobs.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed the suit against Alfonzo and Luis Nunez on Sept. 28. It claims they violated the waitresses' civil rights by committing "repeated acts of verbal and physical harassment which resulted in a hostile environment based on sex."
The two men run Calua Grill in Tucker and the La Pantera Rosa restaurants in Duluth and Marietta.
They did not return a telephone call to their offices seeking comment Friday.
The incidents detailed in the suit allegedly happened over several months in 2007 and 2008. The waitresses resigned as a result.
