Henley Takes Brickyard Lead with 65

The Hometown Boy keeps rolling. After sharing the lead through round one, Stratford grad and Georgia Bulldog golfer Russell Henley sits alone at -10 after a second round 65.

After going three under through six holes, Henley (69, 65) birdied 18 to get him to -4 on the day, and seven under on the tournament.

Georgia Tech's John Tyler Griffin (69, 70) is five strokes back in second place.

Taylor Floyd of Augusta State followed up his one under 71 on Saturday with a 70 on Sunday to move to three under and a tie for fifth place.

Mercer's top golfer, Matt Kocolowski, is in a tie for 15th after following up a round one 73 with a one under 71.

Augusta St. is still in control of the team competition. They are at 13-under, followed by Clemson and Chattanooga at even par.

Mercer is in 13th place with a team score of +18.

The three round tournament wraps up Monday.
