WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Supreme Court says Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is in stable health after being hospitalized overnight.
Court officials say while onboard a flight, she became drowsy and fell from her seat before takeoff. They blame a bad reaction to a combination of a prescription sleeping aid and an over-the-counter cold medicine. The 76-year-old was taken to Washington Hospital Center as a precaution and released this morning.
Ginsburg was aboard the flight to London to attend ceremonies marking the opening of Britain's new Supreme Court.
Officials say she remains in Washington today, and it's not clear if she still plans to make the trip to England.
This is the second time Ginsburg has been hospitalized in recent weeks. She became lightheaded late last month after receiving treatment for anemia.
Ginsburg underwent cancer surgery earlier this year, to remove a malignant growth from her pancreas.
