This weekend brides-to-be gathered Fort Valley to do some one-stop shopping.
The Fort Valley Arts Alliance sponsored a bridal show at the Austin Theater. More than 20 vendors set up to display wedding day essentials like dresses, tuxes, shoes and rings.
All of the items were made by companies in Central Georgia.
"That's one of the reasons we decided to do this. This was to showcase the things that we have in this area, so our people won't necessarily have to go 40 or 60 miles away to get the things they need for their weddings," said Monica Nix, Secretary for the FVAA.
The Fort Valley Arts Alliance works to bring entertainment and culture to the Fort Valley and Central Georgia area.
