
The Middle Georgia Economic Alliance, which is made up of 11 counties, sponsored Developer's Day with Industrial Development International in Monroe County.
IDI had the opportunity to share with the Middle Georgia Economic Alliance the space the company has available to potential companies who would like to come to Central Georgia.
Industrial Development International says they want to attract good quality companies to the area.
The company purchased 257 acres of land to be built on.
The Executive Director for Economic Development in Twiggs County, Judy Sherling, says many companies will benefit from the advantages of Central Georgia.
Brenda Carroll with Crawford County Development Authority says this is a joint effort from all surrounding counties.
"We feel like the minute we can bring industries and businesses to our county, then we can present jobs," said Carroll.
