A Dublin bowling alley will help pay for surgery for a dog shot in her backyard.

Kenneth Dinkheller, owner of Shamrock Bowling Center, says he'll contribute 25 cents for every game bowled in the month of November.

Meanwhile, owner Dawn Moore says she's increasing the reward from $100 to $600 for information leading to the arrest of the person who shot Molly.

Dawn Moore said she found the 1-year-old Chihuahua bleeding and limping in her backyard Saturday, Oct. 17 in her fenced yard on Woodrow Street.

Her veterinarian thinks someone shot Molly with a high-powered BB gun or pellet gun.

Moore said Molly has a fractured leg and must wear a body cast for six weeks. If Molly doesn't get the surgery she needs, the doctor says, they may need to amputate her leg.

Dublin police say there are no witnesses and no suspects. If you have any information, you can call Dublin police at 478-277-5080.

The Shamrock Bowling Alley is at 104 Bowling Lane in Dublin. For more information, call 478-272-2477.
