Dodge County deputies raided a club where several hundred people were drinking illegally, according to a news release.

It happened at Club 341, in the old Ag Best Building off the McRae Highway, according to a news release.

The sheriff's department says it's gotten noise and drinking complaints about the club for the past several weekends.

They say a 1998 county ordinance, which was not being enforced, prohibits club patrons from bringing their own alcohol.

The ordinance also says clubs must close by 1 a.m. and the building must be cleared by 1:30 a.m., the sheriff's department says.

Sheriff Jeff Hinson visited the club Friday night and found several hundred people with alcohol brought in by patrons, according to a news release.

Deputies began confiscating the alcohol and warned the owner and patrons about the 1 a.m. closing, according to the news release.

Capt. Tony Winbourn says no arrests were made, although one person was arrested on a warrant.

He says the club did not reopen Saturday night.
