Happy Hallo'weekend, Central Georgia! It's time to scare up a little excitement.

Check out the fun of a wild and wicked Hallo'weekend. From awesome zombie action to creepy haunted woods to a not-so-spooky requiem of the Mozart variety...Scene 13's got a little something for all you crazy creatures!

First up in Scene 13's bag 'o fun...it's the "Night of the Living SoChilites!"

Terrell "The SoChilite" Sandefur invites all ye of legal age to don your best Halloween costumes for a fabulous party at the SoChi Gallery in downtown Macon.

The spooktacular fun begins Friday at 9:30 p.m. Admission is $10.00. For more info, call (478) 238-6630.

But before you take on the SoChilite scene, you might want to check out another little dance party. The annual Thriller dance - which features almost 100 zombie-fied Central Georgians - is also happening Friday night right on the corner of Third and Cherry Streets.  The action begins at 9:00 p.m. It's definitely a sight worth seeing, folks!

While SoChilites and zombie take over downtown Macon, aliens invade the Haunted Woods at the Museum of Arts and Sciences.

During the haunted alien experience, visitors travel through a sinister cave and out into the dark, scary forest where the unknown lurks around every corner. Strap on those tinfoil hats and make sure your bravery is in check!

Explore the Haunted Woods - if you dare - this Friday and Saturday from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. weather permitting. Visit www.masmacon.com or call (478) 477-3232 for all the frightening details!

For the young and faint of heart among you, the Georgia Children's Museum presents the Scared Silly Haunted House on Friday only from 5:30 P.M. to 9:00 p.m.. Families can enjoy trick-or-treating, crafts and a kid-friendly haunted house. Go to www.georgiachildrensmuseum.com for all your Scared Silly info.

Now, how about a requiem? Well, put away your costumes and candy and get ready to experience a Sunday afternoon with Mozart!

It's the first concert of the new season for the Choral Society of Middle Georgia as they bring the music of Mozart's Requiem to life. Over 80 super-talented Central Georgians make up this magnificent choir.

The concert will be performed Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at Vineville United Methodist Church. Also performing - the Mercer Children's Choir. Tickets for the event are $10.00. For more information, call (478) 742-2561.

Alright, that's it, that's all, there's no more! At least not here on Scene 13. But you can find more information on events of the Halloweenish variety on The Halloween Hub on 13wmaz.com.
