Dodge County Man Accused of Shooting Teen

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office says an Eastman man shot a teenager after a fight.

Capt. Tony Winborn with the Dodge County Sheriff's Office says the shooting happened around 4 p.m. Friday at the Hunting Club off Ocmulgee Church Road.

Winborn says 48-year-old Allen Bennett Peacock of Eastman, and 17-year-old Dylan Williams, also of Eastman, got into a fight.

Capt. Winborn says Peacock shot Williams. Winborn says alcohol and drugs were involved.

He says Williams was taken to a hospital for treatment. Peacock was taken to the Dodge County jail and charged with aggravated assault.
