The streets of Fort Valley filled with blue and gold Saturday, as Wildcat fans celebrated FVSU's annual homecoming.

Bands marched by and floats drifted by during the parade Saturday morning. Several celebrity cowboys showed off their skills with horses. Chefs got some great food cooking up for Wildcat fans to fill their stomachs before the big game.

For alumnus Daniel Dixon, homecoming is about reconnecting with his old classmates

"I was born and raised here. So it's just a tradition to always come out to the parade and enjoy all the crowd and fellowship. Going out and seeing people that you went to school with, I guess just seeing everybody after a year, seeing all your old school mates and everything," Daniel Dixon said.

Former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker and Wildcat alumnus Greg Lloyd returned to the Valley to serve as the parade's grand marshal.
