Peach County Heads to the Polls

In Fort Valley, voters are choosing the city's next mayor. Incumbent John Stumbo is seeking a fourth term in office while Randy King wants a shot at the city's top spot.

Also on the ballot:

• City Council Seat for the West Ward: Melba Hester (I), Jarrett Reagan.
• Special Election for City Council Seat: Jimmy Barnes, Teresia Felton Dennis (I)
• Peach County E-SPLOST for improvements to Peach County Schools.

The rest of Peach County will vote on:

• Utilities Commissioner At-Large: Marvin Crafter, Jo Ann Dankel
• Utilities Commissioner, East Ward: Isabell Freeman, Billy Jones (I)
