Peach County's board of elections did not act on challenges by two Fort Valley utility commission candidates against more than 50 voters.

Jo Ann Dankel challenged seven voters Tuesday night and Marvin Crafter challenged 49.

Martha McAfee, the city administrator and election supervisor, said the board met briefly, decided that there was no merit to the complaints and took no further action. The vote count continued, she said.
