The Laurens County sheriff's office says a 41-year-old woman was shot by a family member.
They say it happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday at 611 Morgan Road. That's off Highway 319 near East Dublin.
A news release says a teenage family member shot Sharon Bracewell, but did not give details.
The sheriff's department says no one has been charged and the shooting is still under investigation. They said no further details on the case are available.
She's in critical condition at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
