Crawford County has a new recreation spot for people of all ages.
Thursday, the city of Roberta held a dedication ceremony for its new basketball and tennis facilities.
Crawford voters approved an additional penny sales tax last year. Some of that money went to recreation projects.
The new rec center serves up a full-sized tennis court and a two-hoop basketball court.
Crawford County Commission Chairman Eddie Still says the new facility is for children and adults alike.
"We felt like we needed it for the kids for one. It's a place to come instead of out on the streets," Still said. "And number two, the adult community needed something to do and we just felt this could be served by everybody."
Still says they also plan to build a concession stand for the ball field with the additional tax money.
