A Macon man died early Sunday morning after someone shot him while he was sitting  in his car.

The shooting happened in front of Club Money's at 4740 Pio Nono Avenue just after 3:30 a.m.

Bibb County coroner Leon Jones says he pronounced  25-year-old Zachary Blasingame dead at the hospital, just before 5 a.m.

Jones says Blasingame suffered from numerous gunshot wounds.

Det. David Patterson with the Macon police department says Blasingame was sitting in his car alone when the attack happened.

A Macon Police Department news release says the shooters may have been in a black 4-door Honda Accord.
