Some roads in Dodge County are closed or under water due to heavy rains Monday and Tuesday morning.
According to a Dodge County release, Tom Pittman Road is closed to traffic. Others roads open, but under water include:
Jim Pruitt Road at Crooked Branch Creek
Jerry Farmer Road between Highway 87 South and Rigby Road
Golden Road (dirt portion of the road)
Yancey Road between Hightower Road and L.A. Peterson Road
Jim Ross Road
Adam's Springs Road
Cook Road at Highway 280 in Milan
The following roads have been reopened today by road work crews:
Jefferson Davis Memorial Road
Evergreen Church Road
Joiner Creek Road
Cofield Road
Louis Harrell Road
Benevolence Church Road
Elkins Road
Tom Pittman Road
Sheriff Jeff Hinson cautions motorists for their safety not to cross roads which are closed or under water.
