Pam Liner says she made a mistake in her holiday preparations this year.
"I need to get a few things to take to my friend to visit that I didn't pick up yesterday when I should have," said Pam Liner.
She rolled through the aisles at a Walgreen's, looking for snacks and toppings to complete her holiday desserts, and she had plenty of company.
"It's full of people you can hardly get a parking spot," she said.
Walgreens Assistant Manager Dana Aaron says with so many stores closed on Christmas, customers stopped in for batteries, and gift cards for family and friends.
"A lot of people have been coming here, you know they can't go to Wal-Mart, Wal-Mart is closed today. So we've had a lot of business today. Since I walked in the door this morning it's been bumper to bumper traffic," said Aaron.
Mark James said he drove to Macon from Gray to find a store with open doors.
"Just some last minute things like some pie filling and things like that, some people wanted to have when they came over to visit," he said. "I wish I could have found me some greens, but you know hey!"
Though the drug stores may not have supplied everything a customer hoped for, they still allowed shoppers to pick up things to make their holidays complete.
