
Taking its eighth victory in a row, the Georgia College & State University men's basketball team (14-2, 7-0 PBC) ran over Flagler College (7-9, 2-5 PBC) 80-69 in Peach Belt Conference (PBC) action Monday night.
All five starters had double-digit scoring efforts, including a team-high 18 from senior Ty Rowland (Lilburn, Ga.) and a 10-point, 11-rebound double-double out of junior Josh Hurst (Athens, Ga.).
Seniors Graham Martin (Marietta, Ga.) and Jake Rios (Bozeman, Mt.) had 13 points each, with sophomore Ryan Aquino (Roswell, Ga.) at 11 points and seven boards.
Martin now has 1,122 career points, ranking 12th all-time for Georgia College, passing Larry Anderson (1971-75) with Martin's fourth point today.
The Bobcats are back in action at home Friday, Jan. 29 against Francis Marion University at 7:30 p.m., ending a four-game road stretch.
