Warner Robins police say they've made an arrest in connection with a January 24 shooting.

The Houston County District Attorney's office says it's trying the teen as an adult in the case. Assistant DA Erikka Williams identified the teen as John Evans.

A news release from the Warner Robins Police department says officers arrested the16-year-old Warner Robins resident. The teen faces charges of assault, battery, criminal intent murder, and other firearm-related charges, and is being held at a regional youth detention facility.

Police say the arrest and charges stem from a January 24 incident in which 17-year-old Dajohn Milton was shot while sitting in his car in the 100 block of Hudson Street in Warner Robins. He later underwent surgery at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.
