Two injured during street shooting in Macon

Bibb County deputies say there was a shooting on the 2800 block of Walmar Drive just before midnight on Saturday.

36 year-old Tecovelin Starling and 24 year-old Emmanuel Stroud Jr., both of Macon, were walking on Walmar when an unknown suspect began shooting.

Deputies say the suspect hit Starling in the left leg and Stroud in the abdomen and left side of his head.

Responders took both men to Navicent Health medical center. Stroud is listed in critical condition, and Starling is listed in stable condition.

No other information on the suspect is available yet. Check back here for updates.
