UPDATE: 9-year-old Jasper girl found safe

UPDATE: Pickens County officials say Skylar is safe and both she and her father have been found.

Georgia officials have activated a Levi's Call for a child they fear may be in danger.

Pickens County officials believe 9-year-old Skylar Lashay Hunter has been abducted by 31-year-old William David Hunter.

Skylar is described as being about 4 feet tall and 80 pounds with blue eyes and long blond hair.  She was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt with an owl on the front, shorts and brown sandals.

She was last seen in the 100 block of Apple Lane in Jasper, Georgia.  Investigators believe she may be in William Hunter who may be fleeing in a beige 2004 Mercury Monterey with the Georgia license plate QBG6618.

William is described as a white male who is about 6 feet 1 inches tall and 110 pounds. He has blue eyes and black hair. Officials believe Skylar is in extreme danger and that her father William is under the influence of drugs. He's also accused of assaulting the child's mother.

Anyone with information on the location of Skylar or William is asked to call the Pickens County Sheriff's Office at 706-253-8900 or 911.
