UPDATE, 7:28 p.m.:

Escaped inmate Jared William Pardue has been captured, according to Bibb Lt. Randy Gonzalez with the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

Gonzalez says Pardue was captured on prison grounds in a trailer at Central State Prison by the GDOC Tact Team around 7:20 p.m.

The Georgia Department of Corrections needs your help finding an escaped Central State Prison inmate.

According to a release, 37-year-old Jared William Pardue escaped from a mobile work site at the prison on Wednesday, August 23, in Macon.

He was last seen in a state issued orange shirt and white pants with a blue stripe.

He is 6-feet-4, weighs 225 pounds, has brown eyes, and black hair.

Anyone who sees him should contact the Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500.
