Warner Robins boil water advisory lifted

People in Warner Robins can now use their water without boiling it.

According to a news release from Warner Robins Mayor Randy Toms' office, the boil water advisory has been lifted. The advisory was issued Thursday afternoon for a portion of the city's water customers after possible microbiological contamination.

About 6,000 people and 2,300 homes were affected, including residents south of Watson Boulevard, east of Pleasant Hill Road, north of Russell Parkway and west of Georgia Highway 247.
