The 2nd annual Winter Wonderland event kicks off Saturday at Windsor Academy in support of the Love Always, Becca Jean Foundation!
Mandy Mathews says she started the foundation because cancer has touched her family, not just once, but twice.
Last year, her youngest sister Becca Jean died from brain cancer.
Mathews says her sister loved helping others and giving back, so they want to continue on her legacy.
The event features games, Christmas shopping, and a silent auction, and the proceeds go to help families of young adults battling cancer.
"This cause is near and dear to my heart because it has affected my family so much, and, you know, these days, you can look around and it's hard to find a family that hasn't been affected by cancer, but when you live through it firsthand and you watch those people that you love go through something like this, you want to help other people to," said Mathews.
Mathews says last year they raised $13,000.
This year, her goal is to raise even more so they can make some cancer patients' Make A Wish dreams come true.
